Ask Bade: He Deletes All His Chats

Hello Bade,

December last year, I went through my boyfriend's phone because he spends a lot of time on IG and I saw a steamy chat between him and a girl. It didn't seem like they had met yet and he walked in before I could check his other Apps. He begged me for weeks, even involved our families and I finally decided to forgive him but the problem is that I can no longer see any of his chats even on WhatsApp as he deletes them.

It is fishy to me and I don't want to break up over something I'm imagining.

We are also planning to have our introduction in November.

What should I do?

Bade: Give yourself time to rebuild the broken trust and make sure that he has earned it, however, him deleting his conversations is not trust building. Postpone the introduction if you can to give yourself time to make the right decision, also let him know exactly how you feel about it.
