Would Your Relationship Survive This?
A fun relationship test
By Loveandships Admin · July 24, 2026
Let's play a game.
For every question you answer "Yes" to, give yourself 1 point.
Don't overthink it. Be honest. The goal isn't to win; it is to see how well you really know and trust each other.
1. Can you tell each other exactly how much you earn?
Money is one of the biggest causes of conflict in relationships. Being open about finances doesn't necessarily mean combining everything, but honesty around money is a huge sign of trust.
2. Could you sit in traffic together for over three hours without fighting?
Relationships can feel effortless when you don’t have to be in each other’s faces. Real compatibility is tested in boring, frustrating moments. Remember how the lockdown made a lot of couples reevaluate their relationships?
3. Can you argue without raising your voices?
Disagreements are inevitable. The real question is whether you fight to solve a problem or to win the argument?
4. Do you know each other's phone passwords?
Some couples happily share passwords. Others believe privacy and secrecy are two different things. There is no one correct answer here; it all comes down to the level of trust you both require. However, if you are planning to build a life together, knowing each other’s passwords becomes a security need.
5. Can you make each other's favourite meal without asking for help?
Love is often in the little details. Knowing what makes your partner happy is sometimes more meaningful than grand romantic gestures.
6. Could you spend an entire weekend together without your phones?
Just the two of you.
No doomscrolling.
No Instagram.
No replying DMs.
Would you still enjoy each other's company?
7. Would you share a toothbrush?
Relax. We know what you are thinking.
This isn't a hygiene recommendation. It is simply a fun question about comfort levels. Some couples think it is disgusting. Others won't think twice. We are not taking sides.
8. Would you have a child together?
This isn't asking whether you want children today.
It is asking whether you trust this person enough to imagine building a family with them someday.
9. Can you tell each other all your secrets?
Complete honesty is beautiful, but emotional safety is even more important.
Can you be vulnerable without worrying that your mistakes will be used against you later?
10. Would you open a joint account together?
For some couples, it is a symbol of teamwork. For others, financial independence is healthier. What is important is having conversations about money rather than avoiding them.
Your Results
0-3 Points
Have you considered couples counselling?
Just kidding.
You are probably still figuring each other out, and that's perfectly normal. Every relationship starts somewhere. The important thing is whether you are growing in trust and communication.
4-7 Points
You are building something solid.
Healthy relationships are not about perfection; they are built on consistency, patience and choosing each other over and over again. Keep doing the work.
8-10 Points
You have clearly invested a lot in your relationship, and it shows.
Communication is strong, trust is growing and you have probably survived enough life together to know what works for you.

You should note...
This is not a scientific relationship test.
Some of these questions are serious. Some are designed to be interesting. (We are definitely judging the toothbrush people though)
The real purpose is to start conversations with your partner, because the healthiest couples are not the ones who answer "yes" to every question, they are the ones who can honestly talk about why they answered "no."
